It's that time of year again. I'm sorry to see summer go but you can't beat FOOTBALL SEASON!

Marc Bulger, STL QB
Joey Harrington, DET QB - I know! I know! It was late and I was drunk!
Tiki Barber, NYG RB
Michael Bennett, MIN RB
Reuben Droughns, CLE RB - I'm not so sure about this one.
Priest Holmes, KCC RB
Anquan Boldin, ARI WR
Braylon Edwards, CLE WR - Go Blue Baby!
Joe Horn, NOS WR
Ashley Lelie, DEN WR
Justin McCareins, NYJ WR
Chris Cooley, WAS TE
Alge Crumpler, ATL TE
Matt Stover, BAL PK
Buffalo Bills, Def
Indianapolis Colts, Def

I really messed up as 3 of my 4 running backs have a bye week the 5th week of the season. Damn. I'm definitely not going to drop one of them. Luckily we have a floater guy so I can play a third wide receiver.

Oh So Close!

The Krunchers' season came to an end Monday night with the conclusion of the game between the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins. The Krunchers trailed the Gamblers by a mere 6 points going into the game with only the Krunchers having an active player. The Gamblers had to sit back and hope that the Dolphins could hold the Krunchers' Deion Branch to under 60 yards. Well the Gamblers are breathing easy this morning as the Dolphins did just that holding Branch to only 44 yards receiving and a mere 4.4 points. This allowed the Gamblers to defeat the Krunchers by a score of 118.58 to 117.06, and knocking them out of the playoffs by a slim 1.52 point difference.

The Krunchers owner, Big K said that “he was very happy to have made the playoffs in this, the Krunchers first year in the league. We'll get em' next year!“, after which, he was seen downing several Bud Lights.

Big Day for the Krunchers

Detroit, Michigan - Last week Big K's Krunchers crushed the American Rhinos in a decisive 128.60 to 58.80 victory to clinch a spot in the playoffs in their inaugural season. The Kruncher's Drew Bennet scored an impressive 41.30 points and nearly beat the lowly Rhinos on his own. Deuce McAllister and Daunte Culpepper added 24.00 and 18.00 points respectively to finish off the Rhinos who finished in last place in the league.

This weekend, the Krunchers (8-6-0) butt heads with the Gamblers (8-6-0) in the first round of the NWFL league playoffs. The Krunchers are looking toward Daunte Culpepper to have a huge game today against the lowly Detroit Lions to add to Tiki Barber's 17.40 effort against the Steelers yesterday.

With the Gamblers having the likes of Brett Favre and Marvin Harrison, the Krunchers have their work cut out for them.

I really wish that the next time Mike Holmgren decides to bench someone, that he would at least give me a phone call so I can bench him too! This probably cost me the game this week! Thanks Coach! Can I um, see you in my office?

Big K's Krunchers

I was over at Play by Play checking out Joe's fantasy football team so I thought I'd post my own team and get some feedback. Now, I'm definitely not an expert at fantasy football as this is my first season, but I would like to become one as I am a huge football fan and this is a lot of fun!

The league I'm in is not really very serious, it's basically a trash talkin' league but I'm still excited about my team and the season ahead.

I've set up a forum for our league over at Big K's Forums to do our trash talking. Feel free to drop by anytime and check out all the BS being tossed around! If you'd like me to set up a forum for your league, or for any other topic, just drop me an email with the details and I'll set it up for you.

With that said, let me introduce...
Big K's Krunchers

QB: Daunte Culpepper (Min)
QB: Jeff Garcia (Cle)

WR: Koren Robinson (Sea)
WR: Laveranues Coles (Was)
WR: Amani Toomer (NYG and of course the Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue!)
WR: Deion Branch (New Eng)

RB: Deuce McAllister (New Orls)
RB: Tiki Barber (NYG)
RB: Tyrone Wheatley (Oak and of course the Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue!)
RB: Garrison Hearst (Den) *I will be releasing this guy. I'd like to pick up another WR.

TE: Alge Crumpler (Atl)
TE: Bubba Franks (GrBay)

K: Joe Nedney (Tenn)

D: St. Louis Rams

We start 1 QB, 4 WR's, 2 RB's, 1 TE, a kicker, and a defense.
